November is "Can-Do" month.
This means that Junior Civitan members collect canned goods to donate to
Wayne County's Food Bank. This year, the class with the highest total
of cans receives a pizza party. So start collecting cans for this
worthy cause.
Thursday, November 17th was "The Great American Smoke-Out" day sponsored by
Junior Civitan. Members created an informational booth which
demonstrated the harmful effects of tobacco. Participants entered a
drawing for a ten dollar grand prize and other door prizes.
